Fergus/Shannon Estuary meet June 17/18th

Hi all,
just a short heads up on this meet.
The wiska gang are looking forward to welcoming you all to a social meet exploring the Islands of this hidden paradise on our doorstep. Deserted villages, lighthouse, a well-preserved 12th century abbey, beautiful scenery and plenty craic are in store for this meet.
Paddling is usually easy level 2 standard, but of course weather can make it more challenging.
The tidal flows are the most challenging aspect of planning paddle routes, and so dictate our paddling times.
Expect a leisurely start Sat morning, and to be off the water by 3:30 on Sunday.
Possibility of a late evening paddle on Friday.
Overnight camp on Coney island, where local farmers Mattie and Kevin have generously welcomed us and offered us fields to camp in.
More details closer to the date.
