4 Star Leader Award Training (Touring): Tollymore delivers the training over two days and two evenings. We use the evenings to cover the theory aspects such as planning, safety and equipment. 3 Star Training and Assessment (Touring):The two days will be split between our local touring rivers and open water venues such as Strangford, developing the skills necessary to travel efficiently in these environments. We will cover areas such as trip planning, simple navigation, boat handling skills, rescue skills, what you should carry and how best to use what you carry and how to be an effective member of a team. We strongly believe that such courses are about developing you as a paddler, therefore the programme will retain a level of flexibility in order to meet the needs and wants of those attending.
