ISKA meets 2015

Post by patriciacarraher » Sat Jan 03, 2015 1:02 pm

Hi all,

I am in the process of putting together a schedule of ISKA meets and skill based meets for 2015. If you would be willing to lead a trip on a meet organised by someone else or organise a meet yourself you could earn yourself some homemade cookies. In addition to the normal schedule of meets I also hope to organise some skill based meets along the lines of the flora/birdwatching/coastal searching workshop we had on Clare Island last year.

It is the volunteering and sharing aspect of ISKA which makes it such a fantastic organisation.

If you fancy some homemade cookies just contact me at p carraher at gmail dot com without all the spaces. Terms and conditions apply,

Trish

Hello Patricia.
Last two weeks in May is Rathlin Sound Festival -- the usual restrictions on camping are lifted - kayakers specifically welcomed by Community Council ... fur, feather and water
It's a venue suggestion - not (yet) an application for cookies. John, Ballycastle (Co.Antrim)

Hi John, We were on Rathlin last year during this festival. Great trip, great weather, lovely BnB beside the pub. If you can organise the weather would love to do it all again.

So nice to see enthusiasm. Rathlin trips are totally weather dependent - we will have to guarantee windstill and bright sunshine for the whole month. Plans are coming together and I'll post a programme once the organisers have one drawn up. I hope to see you before then at some of the other meets. J.

Great to hear this, John.
We'll be your visitors then.
