Went to Sardinia last week for a bit of seakayaking. Cheap flights from Ryanair to Alghero in Sardinia. Francesco in Cardedu Seakayking provided all the eqpt. Stayed in a camping spot in Ogliastra which is a good deal south of Algehero (opted for the 5* caravan on site with kayak launch 200m from site. (Francesco provides the trolley and travel to other launch sites in my case). He can arrange kayaking and trecking for small groups - up to 8-10. Lovely wild nature for both and weather is beautiful. He will support a travelling trip too. Food in restaurants is very cheap with a half litre of very nice italian red for €3.5 in a restaurant even in the old town of Algehro - crazy. You can travel camping on the beaches if you like but best to do this in May and Sept/Oct even Nov when the weather is still really nice.
Regards to all in Irlanda. Weather is picking up nicely here in Stockholm and the 1000 Island Archepelago of Stockholm is beckoning. The invitation still stands to all ISKA members interested in visiting Stockholm and paddling its beautiful archipelago. Best in July or August.
