The original plan was Arklow to Wicklow, however I\'m going to change it to an out and back trip from Wicklow Harbour. We\'ll head south on the 2nd half of the ebb, aiming to be at Wicklow Head about an hour before slack. There\'s a S/SSE F4/5 forecast, so it\'ll be bumpy.
For those that don\'t know, the coastline south of Wicklow head offers a mixture of rock-hopping and nice sandy beaches. If you want to go into the rocks tomorrow, you might appreciate a helmet in places! We\'ll probably stop at Magheramore for lunch and then return on the flood tide with wind behind.
The distance will be about 18km at most. Confident level 3 paddlers upwards only. Meet at 10.45am at the east side of Wicklow Harbour, near the RNLI slip.Post edited by: Julian, at: 2010/04/23 10:42
