UFO identification

Post by incayak » Sat Oct 26, 2013 7:46 pm

I\'ve just picked up a 2nd hand GRP boat described as a \"Sea King\". (It\'s pretty old) It\'s 5.5m long and about 55cwide, steep V hull and a snug ocean cockpit,
Anyone heard of this make of boat?

Yes. Good design around for a long time. Only problem is that many don\'t have skeg or rudder making them difficult downwind. I know a man with a mould. Let me know if you want to talk to him.

Better cut out the pies or you\'ll never fit into that snug little cockpit.

Thanks for the info Des. what I have is a pretty used boat, if I like it I may be interested in making up a new one. Could be a good winter project. Meanwhile, I need to cut out more than the pies .. anyone know a good plastic surgeon?
